FIELD-BASED PROGRAMS AT CAL-WOOD
Join us for a nature immersion experience at 币博286官网. Each program is customized to meet each school’s academic, social, and language needs. Students will participate in hands-on, field-based exploration of local plants, animals, fire ecology, forestry, geology, and pond ecosystems.
OPTIONS + COSTS
3 day/2 night - $190/student
2 day/1 night - $116/student
A full day (9 am - 4 pm) - $50/student
Full day + dinner+ evening program - $70/student
CAL-WOOD COMES TO YOUR SCHOOL
A 币博286官网 instructor can teach a hands-on environmental science or team building lesson. Opportunity for in-class or outdoor session (depending on school grounds or nearby natural area).
COST:
– 3 hrs of programming at your school - $15/student


VIRTUAL PROGRAMS
币博286官网 can lead a session for your students (asynchronous or synchronous)! Topics can range from fire ecology to a virtual campfire!
COST:
1 hr virtual program - $100/instructor
(includes prep)
HYBRID OPPORTUNITIES
We can offer a combination that includes a session at your school (virtual or with a 币博286官网 instructor).

Learning at your school + 1 day at 币博286官网 - $65/student
Virtual Learning + 1 day at 币博286官网 - up to $60/student depending on program

SCHEDULING 2021-2022 PROGRAMS
Schools can book for the 2021-2022 school year now
We will try to accommodate each school's traditional dates
We won’t send contracts until the school district approves the 币博286官网 program
If things change after signing the contract, 币博286官网 will be very flexible

COVID PROTOCOLS
币博286官网 is working with Boulder County Public Health and school districts to adapt current COVID protocols for 币博286官网. For now, we follow the new CDC guidelines for residential summer camps
Moving forward, we may possibly limit our capacity to 60 people (6 people per cabin and 10 in each Meckley room).
Current Protocols:
Daily screenings
Hand washing / sanitation
Masks and social distancing
Cohorts, inside and outside
Limited shared materials
Prioritize outdoor activities
Staggered meal service
